The PANIC cancelled due to snow

Due to the snow/ice falling outside this morning, President Tom Murphy has decided to cancel The PANIC awards banquet today.

Anyone who knows why PSCC’s annual awards banquet is called “The PANIC” is aware that the event is cursed. Just in the past 20 years, I’ve driven through a foot of snow, suffered through a restaurant with no heat where the water glasses actually froze on the tables, last-minute venue changes, etc. The senior members can tell you about older disasters, and why they changed the started calling it The PANIC many years ago. Long story short, this is one PSCC event that you *must* check the web site for updates before leaving home. You never know, the restaurant might have been hit by a flaming asteroid overnight!

Anyway, watch your email inbox or this web site for the re-scheduled date…..

6/12/2016 Solo points event #2 results @ HVM posted

Results from the 6/12 Solo/Autocross at Hudson Valley Mall have been posted in the results archive.

It seems like ages since we have had a dry autocross, so the sunny weather was a welcome change for the 43 drivers who came out to the mall. The wind that came with the sun, not so much. Mark VanDeCarr set up a fun course, and more people are stepping forward to help out with event setup/breakdown activities. Fastest time of day (FTD) went to Skyler Weisenburger in the F-Mod Raptor, and #1 PAX was NYR’s Paul Vinas who added to his growing collection of PSCC trophies.

Thank you to everyone who came out, and look forward to seeing you at our next event…..

5/1/2016 Solo points event #1 results @ Lake Taghkanic posted

Results from our Solo/Autocross season opener are now posted in the results archive.

A cold/wet day did not stop 28 brave drivers from shaking off their winter seat rust on a short but fun course designed by Mark VanDeCarr. Russ Burckhard from MoHud was un-stoppable taking both FTD and #1 PAX, and his wife Tracey was only a few tenths slower. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather…..
