The results for yesterday’s Rallycross have been posted – Rallycross #1 – 6/01/2014.
Thanks to Mark Long and Mark VanDeCarr for chairing a great event, Steve Eckelman, Tom Murphy, and of course the guys from M&M Automotive for all of their work to get things set up and cleaned up. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day weather-wise, with lots of sun, temperatures around 70 degrees, and a slight breeze all day. Mark’s 80-second course with the optional direction loop kept drivers debating which way as faster all morning, and the uphill dash to the finish certainly made a great photo-op for some cars…..
Here are the results for Solo Points Event #2 @ Hudson Valley Mall – 5/18/2014: Final Results, PAX times, Raw times.
Thanks to Matt and Tom for chairing another great event, Dave Koehler and Joe Pavan for their handiwork redesigning the snow fence bases, Mark VanDeCarr for another awesome course design, Dean VanDeCarr for coming out and making sure that tech was handled properly, Jennifer for handling registration, and the whole snow fence setup/teardown crew. I’m sure that I’m forgetting someone, and am grateful to have such a good group of volunteers helping to make these events happen.
Here are the results from Solo Points Event #1 at Lake Taghkanic on 4/27/2014: Final Results, PAX times, Raw times.
There were a few passing showers, but overall the event went smoothly. Everyone received 12 runs, we had time for a lunch break, and trophies were handed out by 3:00 PM. Congratulations to Santi Garcia (ASP) for taking the FTD trophy, and Jonathan Fischer (STX) for finishing #1 in PAX. Kudos to event chairs Tom Murphy and Matt Alarcon for putting together a great event, and thanks to everyone who helped to make it happen…..

From Mark Long:
We were hoping the ground would be hardened up by now, but it is raining and we have a flood watch. There is no suitable area to hold an event on the farm and we have no choice but to cancel. The 2013 PSCC Rallycross season is over. Refund checks will be mailed to those who paid online for this event.
We are always looking for an alternate site in the Dutchess County area. If you have any ideas, please contact me.
NER will hold their annual RallyCross kickoff event on Jan 18th and 19th. This is an excellent event and hopefully you can make it. link
Ice Racing season is coming up. See link for details! You can race your daily driver.
A few stray sprinkles during the day did not put a damper on today’s Rallycross event. The course utilized two adjacent fields, and ended when the designers ran out of cones to use at about the 85 seconds in duration for stock cars. Everyone received 9 runs, and we were wrapped up well before sundown. Kudos to Mark Long and Steve Eckelman for both going above and beyond to make the event happen, along with Tom Murphy, the M&M Automotive crew, Jennifer Emerson, and everyone else who stepped forward to help out.
The final results have been posted in the results archive.
Remember, we still have one more Rallycross scheduled for December 1st before we put away the cones for the winter. Online registration is open via the link towards the top of the main PSCC home page.
